Toyota launches Etios Sedan in India, priced at Rs. 4.96 to 6.86 Lacs - Toyota Etios Photos
Toyota Kirloskar Motors finally launched its much awaited Etios sedan in the India market at a very competitive price of Rs. 4.96 Lakhs for the base version. Toyota Etios will be powered by 2NR-FE engine - 1496cc 16V DOHC engine and will deliver 90ps @ 5600rpm. Toyota Etios has launched in four variants J, G, V and VX (top of the line). The J and G variants will boast of 175/65 R14 wheels while the V and VX will be based on 185/60 R15 tyres with 12 spoke alloys. Toyota Etios will in a range of colours Symphony silver, Serene bluish silver, Celestial black, Harmony beige, Vermillion red and White colours.
Diesel version of Toyota Etios will be launched by March 2011 while hatchback is also going to launch in next few months and will be called the Etios Liva.

Leif used a BSR PPC tuning system to give the five-cylinder turbo engine a hefty vitamin injection. Power is up from 220 hp to 278 hp and torque has increased from 320 Nm to a massive 441 Nm.
Entirely redesigned front where the grille has been moved down and angled back, and the area underneath is recessed and painted the same color as the grille (anthracite gray) to give the impression of a larger grille with a hungrier, leaner look.
